His Majesty, Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali Matakhitswen, the Aku Uka and Supreme Ruler of the Jukun Nation, this morning received senior officials of KANDBEEN Construction Company; Engr. Bechara Karam and Engr. Johnny Nassal at his palace. The team was led and formally presented to His Majesty by Hon. Bala Useni Aji, Executive Chairman of Wukari Local Government Council.
Their visit comes after the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, awarded KANDBEEN Construction Company a major contract to construct and rehabilitate key roads within Wukari metropolis. The project is expected to significantly improve transportation, boost economic activities, and enhance the overall development of the ancient town.
The contractors were at the palace to seek His Majesty’s blessings, prayers, and royal support as they begin this crucial assignment.
In his remarks, His Majesty expressed deep appreciation for the visit and prayed for the success of the project. He assured the contractors of his full cooperation and encouraged them to deliver quality work that will stand the test of time. The Aku Uka further praised Governor Agbu Kefas for awarding this multi-billion-naira infrastructural investment to Wukari, describing it as a clear demonstration of his administration’s Moving Forward Agenda and commitment to balanced development across Taraba State.
Hon. Useni also guided the team on an inspection tour around Wukari, showing them the priority roads earmarked for immediate construction.
