Holy Bible
Bible derived from the Greek word 'Biblos' which means Book. Therefore Holy Bible means Holy Book. Bible is the the Holy book of the Christian religion.
The Bible was made up of two basically sections:
1. Old Testament
2. New Testament
Christians believe that the first five books of the Old Testament were written by Moses, and the rest of the books were written by the prophets who came after him.
Christians also believe that the four Gospels of the New Testament were written by the disciples of Jesus who were eyewitness to the incidents.
Christians believe these Gospels were written by inspiration from the Holy Spirit, which they believe to be God's word, not a human word.
Many books of the New Testament section were written after Paul's death.
Letters of Paul
Saint Paul wrote 14 books out of the 27 books of the New Testament, he wrote letters to various churches and individuals, most of these letters are now part of the Bible.
The letters of Saint Paul were collected and later made it part of the Bible without consulting him, because he was long death by that time.
Some of these letters are lost forever and no where to be found. For example, Paul first letter to the Corinthians are lost. Paul wrote letter to the Corinthians and remind them that he already written to them a letter before this one; Paul says: "In my later i wrote to you to quit mixing in company with fornicators..." (I Corinthians 5:9). Saint Paul is referring to what he had written in a previous.
In I Corinthians 5:11 Paul is making change to his previous instruction as he said "But now i' am writing to you to quit a mixing in a company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator..."
Paul is making a change to his previous instruction. Now where is the Paul previous letter? Of course it is lost. If Paul letters are the words of God, does that mean some of the words of God are lost forever?
Paul himself was quite conscious that he often wrote his opinions, in I Corinthians 7:40 Paul says: "Now concerning virgins i have no command from the Lord, but i give my opinion".
